Speedtest.net More Than Just Bandwidth Testing

One of the best website’s to test your broadband connection speed is speedtest.net. Its polished interface provides estimates of your download and upload speeds at a click of a button. Interestingly enough, speedtest.net provides global statistics on the average speed of users from different countries along with compartitive data for your ISP and others.

RPT – Matsushita Electric to allow 30,000 white-collar staff to work from home

Matsushita Electric Industrial Co said it would begin a telework program for nearly half of its employees in Japan as part of the private sector’s effort to cope with an ageing society.

Some 30,000 of its 76,000 employees, excluding factory workers, safety inspectors, secretaries and some others, will be eligible to work from home starting April 1, the electronics giant behind the Panasonic brand said.
