Telecommuting could save money for workers, employers

Mahi Majanovic wanted some flexibility in his work week, so when the human resources professional for Southern Co.’s Augusta operations was given the option to telecommute, he eagerly accepted the offer.
For seven years, he has been working from his home in Martinez two days a week. The rest of his time is spent at his Walton Way office 10 miles away.
